I’m Anne Toppius — Creative Director, Senior Designer, and Co-Founder of Better Nice Cool, a Berlin-based textile and branding agency.
For over 18 years, I’ve been designing and developing activewear, outdoor, and performance apparel, partnering with brands to create products that combine technical function, modern aesthetics, and production-level quality.
My work is rooted in the balance of form and function: apparel that not only looks strong, but performs in real environments — built for movement, protection, and everyday life.
From first concept to factory-ready execution, I support the full product development process, including design direction, material and trim strategy, technical construction, and close collaboration with international manufacturers.
Sustainability is a core part of my approach. Guided by the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle, I’m committed to helping shape a more responsible fashion industry — creating better products with long-term value for both people and planet.
I work with startups and established brands looking for senior-level expertise, clarity in development, and thoughtful design leadership.
